MISSION AND VISION

The Conservation and Sustainable Natural Resources Management Network (CSNRM-Net) was created in 2018 by a group of research students from the University of Yaounde I, Cameroon, to support the Cameroon Government’s initiatives in the management of her natural resources through the development of research and development project in key natural resources management areas like the conservation of biodiversity, carbon stock evaluation, climate adaptation, resource governance (Forestry governance) and valorization biodiversity and ecosystem services. The team also placed priority on applied research in biodiversity, conservation, ecology, climate change and land restoration, with the aim of generating scientific knowledge that can sufficiently inform policy, decision makers and practitioners on urgent issues regarding the future of natural resources (biodiversity and ecosystem services). Therefore, we partner with indigenous, local communities, Universities and government to sustainably manage and conserve Cameroon’s natural resources.
