More than 10 000 allometric equations exist today for stand trees biomass estimation in tropical forests of Africa. Still, some studies have shown that one allometric equation’s choice could contribute about 76% to the total error in tree biomass estimation. However, tree biomass estimation required a reliable and accurate allometric equation. It is necessary to develop a local specific allometric equation for this faithful species, but the cost and time will be more expansive. Nevertheless, pantropical or regional allometric equations are preferred for their large spectrum.
